will be here for a weekend of design and creativity for our 2008 Spring Education Event!
Join us Saturday, May 17th
and Sunday, May 18th

Explore the world of design and creativity with Diane Ericson, the owner and pattern designer of Revisions Patterns. Learn how Diane approaches the design process and how you can incorporate her techniques into your own work. Diane is a marvelous teacher and artist. It will be a weekend of inspiration and fun!

Saturday, May 17th, Diane will do a trunk show from her Revisions pattern line, and will present Design and Creativity 101, a lecture/demo to open up your eyes and develop your creativity. Sunday, May 18th is a hands-on day. Diane will spend one half of the day on Creative Details and Closures, and the other half on Surface Designing with Stencils. Practice different techniques, explore the effects with different colors, layers, and more!

You don't have to be an American Sewing Guild (ASG) member to attend!

Details

Revisions Pattern Trunk Show and Design and Creativity 101, Saturday May 17th, will be a lecture/demo where Diane will introduce you to techniques and processes to open up your eyes and develop your creativity. She'll also have a trunk show with her patterns and designs, explaining how you can achieve the same effects and inspiring you to be creative with your own designs. The Saturday class is limited to 50 people. First come, first served! (We will keep a waiting list if we sell out, in case there are any cancellations.)
Continental breakfast is included and lunch is included.
    Cost: $60 ASG members, $70, non-members
       Register before April 1 and save $5!
Your registration must be postmarked March 31 or before.

Creative Details & Closures Class and Surface Designing with Stencils (hands on), Sunday, May 18th, is a hands-on day. Diane will spend one part of the day showing and teaching us Creative Details and Closures. The other part of the day will be spend learning and doing surface design with stencils. Practice different techniques, explore the effects with different colors, layers, and more! The Sunday class is limited to 40 people. First come, first served! (We will keep a waiting list if we sell out, in case there are any cancellations.)
Continental breakfast is included (no lunch provided on Sunday; please bring your own).
    Cost: $60 ASG members, $70, non-members

The classes are held at the Lake Washington Technical College, 11605 132nd Avenue NE, Kirkland WA.

Classes start at 9am each day and end by 4pm.

Event prices are on a per-day basis.

Register by April 1 and receive a discount of $5 per day! Early registration must be postmarked by March 31.

Registration deadline is May 7, 2008. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Fill out this REGISTRATION FORM (Adobe Reader required), indicating which days you wish to attend.
Enclose your check made out to Bellevue ASG and send to Judy Warshal at the address shown on the form.

Confirmation and directions will be sent to you when your payment is received.

The last date to cancel and receive a full refund is May 7.
