The Greater Seattle chapter of the American Sewing Guild

The American Sewing Guild is a non-profit organization. We are the Greater Seattle chapter, which covers the northern Puget Sound Area. To the south is the Olympia chapter, to the west is the Silverdale chapter, and to the east is the Spokane/Couer D'Alene chapter.

We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about or sharing their love of sewing.

SEW Challenge 2008!

Sew Essential Wardrobe is our annual sewing challenge culminating in a fashion show at our November annual meeting. Sew five garments - 2 tops, 2 bottoms and a jacket - to create an interchangeable ensemble. Turn your sewing dreams into reality!

We're the Seattle chapter of the American Sewing Guild. The American Sewing Guild (ASG) is a national non-profit organization for people who love to sew! Whether you're new to sewing or you've put it aside for a few years or it's your obsession, we're the group for you! ASG is open to all skill levels and all areas of interest. We love sewing - whether it's garments, quilts, home dec, or accessories. Try us out! Marla Kazell in September -- Marla Kazell is bringing her couture expertise to the Seattle ASG Fall Education Event on Sept 27 and 28. Enjoy Marla's presentations and trunk show on Saturday, followed by hands-on workshop on Sunday. Early registration in progress! $40/members, $45/non-members. Register before September 1 for savings.

Fall Retreat: October 10, 11 & 12 -- It's time to plan for the FALL RETREAT!! We are going back to Camp Huston in Gold Bar among the tree and mountains for 3 days of sew, eat and sleep. And laugh and talk and have fun too. Cost is $175.00 for single room; $140.00 per person for double room.
