Clothing & Bridal Alterations Position

Looking to hire a mature, experienced seamstress to do clothing alterations (suit jacket sleeves, pant waists and hems, zipper replacements, skirt and dress hems, etc.), and, including some bridal alterations on high end gowns.

You must be skilled at doing meticulous work, done with care and precision, and be able to think through some complex alterations.

While we will certainly offer assistance and guidance as you become comfortable in your job, this is NOT an on-the-job training position for a beginner.  We are a very busy alterations shop and need someone that can step right in and skillfully do most of the work from the get go.

You must be able to work Wednesday’s and/or Friday’s, and as the bridal season becomes busier, additional hours may be added.

Beginning pay is $26 an hour.
