Spring Ed 2018 – Marsha McClintock

Come join your fellow sewers for a lecture and workshop with Marsha McClintock of SAF-T-POCKETS. During the morning lecture, Marsha will present “It’s in the Details,” where she will show you how to make and apply unique trims, interesting closures, in-seam buttonholes, fun pockets and sleeve treatments. There will be sample garments with great details to inspire you to get started adding new and original details to all of your projects. She will also show you ways to reduce your stash by presenting ideas for projects for the home, accessories and gifts you can make in minutes.

In the afternoon, workshop participants will make a reversible tank top using Marsha’s pattern #2004 (provided). You will need to provide a sewing machine; preshrunk, lightweight fabrics for Side 1 and Side 2 that are compatible for washing or dry cleaning; matching thread; ¼ yd of ½” ribbon in matching or complementary color, plus basic sewing supplies.
