Finished: A Pencil Case for Lola

I finally had a few minutes to finish my pencil case that I started at the ByAnnie workshop led by Joni Blakeslee on October 18th. The case is for my 6 year old granddaughter, Natalie. The fabric is from Pacific Fabrics as is the heart fabric tag that I attached. I add one of these tags to everything I make for Natalie so she knows Grandma made it just for her!

This is a great beginner project and the workshop was a lot of fun! Next time I’d add a grab tag at the end opposite the handle, or move the heart tag there.
