Neighborhood and Special Interest Groups

Neighborhood and Special Interest Groups

At the core of each chapter of the American Sewing Guild are groups. Our chapter has both geographical neighborhood groups (NGs) and special interest groups (SIGs). Both offer the following:

  • Education: Demos, lectures, learn something new
  • Show and tell: Share your successes and finds, get help with challenges
  • Connection: Connect and network with other sewing enthusiasts
  • Special programs: Field trips and special guest presenters

We welcome visitors! You can attend up to two meetings before deciding to join ASG. You don’t need to reside in a particular area to come to a neighborhood group. Chapter members are welcome to attend whichever meetings they like. If you don’t see a neighborhood group convenient to you, contact us. If enough people express interest, a new group can be started!

ASG members can attend meetings anywhere ASG has a chapter. Are you traveling to another region? Find other ASG chapters at the national ASG site.
