Have you wanted to try the popular ByAnnie patterns but weren’t sure where to start? Then this is the workshop for you! A Pencil Case for Lola is the perfect project for beginners. It’s fun to make and practical, too! This zippered pouch is just right for carrying pencils and markers to school or quilting and sewing supplies to retreat. Joni Blakeslee will guide you each step of the way and pass along special tips and tricks so your first project will be a success. You’ll learn about basic machine quilting, how to use and install zipper by the yard, and how to bind and make a boxed bottom.

Registration fee is only $9.95! Registrants will receive a copy of the A Pencil Case for Lola pattern, enough Soft and Stable foam stabilizer and interfacing to make two pencil cases (because we know you’ll have so much fun you’ll want to make a second one), and one white handbag zipper.

Students will need to bring their own sewing machine and lunch.

Registration is limited to 20 registrants and is open to ASG members only. Registration closes when class is full or at 8pm on Thursday, October 16.
