This is the knit top I sewed (with no serging) for the February 18 Virtual Sew In. I make a one-time stencil from butcher’s paper and ironed it to the front. I then painted it with a mix of fabric medium and regular acrylic craft paint. When dry, I outlined the leaf with a fabric marker in brown and sewed a scatter of seed beads to it. I think it will be a great Spring garment.
