Pattern from Built by Wendy, the Column Coat. Thanks Day Seamers for the fitting help. The quilt was not that big and as a result it took nearly 2 hours to figure out the best way lay out the pattern pieces. Then….I had to cut into the quilt. Must admit I felt guilty doing that. All the seams were finished with a Hong Kong finish using some ice dyed fabric from a summer’s project. Found the perfect small cotton print for the binding on all the jacket edges and sleeves. Love the fit and the fact that all the pieces were in my stash.
