One of our members visited Micheals and Hobby Lobby recently and was told by sales team that both companies would no longer be selling paper patterns from the Big Four pattern makers. Sandra Betzina at the national ASG conference in San Francisco last year predicted that Vogue and Butterick pattern companies would not be around in four years. Looking like she may be correct.
Crabapple Hill patterns used by many in the quilting world is also closing. I have incorporated their designs into a few of my quilting projects. Very classy embroidery patterns. I will miss them. Maybe I can still get one of their Christmas patterns.
