David Page Coffin has died

I was saddened today to learn of the passing of David Page Coffin, author and Northwest sewist.  He was perhaps best known for his work with tailored shirts.  Less well known, but extremely valuable, is his book on trousers.  A long-time editor of Threads Magazine, David gave the sewing world many, many original articles.  He lectured to our Chapter.  He blogged and did other online classes.  While we can still reach his archive, the man behind all of this creativity is now gone.  I, for one, will miss him.
