Denim Shrinkage

Just washed a high end 100% denim, 12 oz, that measured 60″ x 72″.  Washed 3 times and dried 3 times in medium hot water, dried in medium hot dryer.  Here is the result:   58″ x 68″.  Moral of this chat:  buy extra as denim shrinks.    (not a problem as I ordered extra)

I usually just do one pre-wash and dry of cotton fabric.  Did you wash the denim fabric three times since clothing like jeans gets washed a lot?
