Made this 6.5 x 9.5 inch zippered bag out of a Japanese noren. My friend lived in Japan for 32 years and she gifted me her well worn noren. A noren is a traditional Japanese curtain typically hung in a doorway. It has some wear issues and she knew I would repurpose it into something. Thought I would surprise her with a bag made from it.
