Here’s my entry! The pattern is Islander Sewing System 5 Easy Tees and the fabric was from my stash. I’m pretty sure the front and back fabrics were originally from Marcy Tilton and the sleeves fabric from Style Maker. Funnily enough the sleeve fabric is no longer available from Style Maker but it is currently available from Marcy Tilton!

This was my first project cut out directly via projection onto my fabric. Fun to learn something new. Pattern is the Celeste Dress from the Magic Pattern Book by Amy Barickman. Fabric probably from a thrift store somewhere. Hope it is warm enough to wear it someday soon.

Very cute! It’ll be so comfortable this summer and chic!

Dream Panel Quilt – I started doing ruler work quilting about 2 years ago on my domestic machine. I took the Dream Panel class in February from Donna McCauley to expand my skills. Donna was an excellent teacher and challenged us to be creative with the rulers. While figuring out a design for each of the 50 petals, I learned a lot. I finished my quilt last week. Sadly Donna passed away unexpectedly on March 11th so this quilt is an  extra special treasure.

Nice ruler work.  I especially like the flying geese in the border.

Super cute! I love the rick-rack trim with the double stitching so it doesn’t roll – decorative AND functional.

Super soft knit from the free table!  And commented on during Nancy Nix-Rice’s Prints workshop.  I’ll probably wear it as an underlayer top.

Very pretty and a lovely color on you! Nancy would be proud!

Entry #3: a Spoonflower bike pattern, with Stylemaker cotton for sleeves and collar. The pattern was drafted from one of my husbands favorite tee shirts and could use some fitting work in the sleeves.

Great shirts! Especially like the touch of print at the sleeve hem.

I made this bag at our Dumas Bay Spring retreat to take on vacation.  We are back and the bag was just the right size, the pattern is Sweetpea Sling Bag by Sassafrass Lane, the fabric is by Tula Pink.  Fran

      1. Bodacious print for a summer bag! The big blue bow is an easily removed option. This is the Amy Butler sling bag pattern hacked to provide a flat bottom, interior pockets and Soft and Stable as an interlinear for stability instead of the duck or canvas the pattern called for. Both exterior and interior fabrics are gorgeous (imo) quilting fabrics from Anna Maria Horner.

      Love those colors!

A variation on Islander Sewing System’s 5 Easy Tees using the collar from Stretch & Sew #1547 (V-Collar Dress and Top). The fabric is a Liberty of London knit print that was gifted to me from a friend. SUPER soft and comfortable while still being lightweight.
