Hi fellow sewists.
Last month we had a great demonstration by new member Kathy Ives. She created potholders using scrips and scraps and a quick and easy quilting method. I learned a couple new things; the quick quilting method and the use of Frixion gel pens for marking fabric. Thank you Kathy.
For the month of December we will meet for a social hour at LaConner Brewing at117 1st St, La Conner, WA 98257 at at 4:00 pm on Monday December 12.
Please bring a mystery fabric of a yard or more in a paper sack. We will be exchanging these. The fabric challenge will be to create something out of this and bring it back to the February meeting. This is meant to get us sewing and thinking in new ways with a fabric we might not have chosen to create with.
Hope to see you there! I will try to arrive early and get a table for us.
