Ihave had a lovely summer and amready to get back to sewing talk (and doing).
Our next meeting is September 12 at 3:30 pm at Quality Sewing and Vacuum 426 E College Way in Mount Vernon.
We will be taking measurements to begin drafting our very own T-shirt pattern. If you haven’t drafted a pattern before it is in interesting process! I am no expert and we will all be practicing together!
Please bring a tape measure and pencil. A notebook for jotting your measurements down would also be useful.
We will be referencing the book “Design it Yourself Clothes-Patternmaking Simplified” by Cal Patch. I will have a copy with me for you to browse and reference through the process. If you want your own copy, it is available on Amazon and may also be available at your local library.
We will start the actual pattern drafting at the October meeting.
As always bring your sewing problems, successes and questions for Sew and Tell.
