Thanks to Fran Daoust for organizing the retreat this past weekend (Sep 10-11) at Quilting Mayhem in Snohomish! I think there were about more than 20 people there. The humming of sewing and embroidery machines, chats between tables and at the ironing board areas, and the wide variety of projects that people were working on made it very special. At times, we were all in a zen of sewing space. Could someone add in a photo or two? Also, anyone else for sharing and comments!!? Fran – again thank you!
And, thanks to all who helped me with alternation planning for my orange top. And, I’ve not been out a lot in recent years :), have a 20-plus year-old iron (yes!) at home, so felt like I had joined the new world with those irons at the ironing tables.
Looking forward to future weekend retreats like this!
