I do a similar thing for my glasses prescription for computer work. I literally take a tape measure and measure from my eye to the computer monitor. You could similarly measure from your eye to the presser foot. Everybody would be different – it depends on how you sit, lean, chair height, table height, etc.

Hi Mary. Wish I had seen this sooner. I have always wanted to take this course, but the website is so obtuse it is hard to figure out if and when they are actually still giving the classes. I hope to run into you one of these days at an ASG event so I can get more feedback from you on this class.
Thanks for posting a picture of the inside. I have been recently looking at a Safe-T-Pocket pattern because I like the idea of the inside pockets.
